A calculator from Module 5
Every calculator in the course works like this one: change the inputs and the working updates line by line.
Three questions from Module 5
Each module ends with six questions like these. Every answer comes with the reason, so a wrong answer still teaches you something.
Pick an answer to see how the knowledge checks work.
1. On a 5-digit EUR/USD quote, price moves from 1.08355 to 1.08365. How far has it moved?
The change is 0.00010. Divide by the pip size of 0.0001 and you get 1 pip, which is 10 points or pipettes.
2. What is the pip value of 0.50 lots of EUR/USD in a USD account?
50,000 units × 0.0001 = $5.00 per pip. The quote currency is already USD, so no conversion is needed.
3. Why is one pip on one standard lot of USD/JPY worth less than $10 when USD/JPY is 150.00?
100,000 × 0.01 = ¥1,000. Converted at 150.00, that is $6.67. The higher USD/JPY is, the less a pip is worth in dollars.
- Complete beginners who want the mechanics before risking money
- Traders who use MT4 or MT5 but have never worked out pip values, margin or costs properly
- Anyone building or buying an EA who wants to understand what it's doing
- Anyone looking for signals or a ready-made system
- Anyone expecting a promise of profits. The course explains risk honestly, including why most retail CFD accounts lose money.
